>>defrag your HD is built in. Windows built-in defragger is nowhere near as good as some alternatives out there.>>Rip music from CDs is in Windows Media Player. Um.... WMP. *Shudder*.>>Anti-virus is Windows Defender. That's antispyware, and doesn't catch much.>>Firewall is in XP SP2. If you rely on the XP firewall for protection... good luck. :)I could go on...
I haven't tried Kerio yet but Safety.Net is really good. I had an updating problem which completely wrecked it though, so I switched to Comodo. Comodo is the best (free firewall) I've used so far.

couple more nice mp3 apps i would add:Songbird - player/browser mashup. only 0.2 developer preview at present, but pretty stable and *very* cool. <a class="user" href="http://www.songbirdnest.com">http://www.songbirdnest.com</a>Mp3 Tag Tools - self explanatory. best tag tool i've used. <a class="user" href="http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/Mp3_Tag_Tools/mp3tagtools.html">http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/Mp3_Tag_Tools/mp3tagtools.html</a>
