blogs.zdnet.com — The Infernal Revenue Service thinks the mobile phone issued by your office is a "fringe benefit." And as all benefits go, it must be taxed. But hey, don't worry. It's just another $105 you'll have to pay each year.

@pigfisterSo if the law prohibiting it was never ratified, doesn't that mean that it's still legal?

I blame Abraham Lincoln, he's the one that created the IRS. I hate Abraham Lincoln

No, you did not read the article - this tax applies to all employer provided cell phones.

Obama thinks so. You work hard and try to live within your means, put aside money for a rainy day - and the government takes your savings, taxes your money again if you have any left to leave to your children, and double taxes profits on businesses and the amounts distributed to shareholders. And now they want to tax the small business man out of business with the health care proposals. Sure - tax us into oblivion.

How about this business. Don't pay your taxes! http://digg.com/politics/United_States_Government_ ...

A. "You people" ??? Dont assume I'm a democrat. I'm not. I complain because the mass of attacks against Obama are completely unfounded, unlike much of Bush's criticism which at least _attempted_ to link him to the problem.B. I only blame Bush for things he is responsible for, such as convincing the american people to an unprovoked pre-emptive assault on an independent country.C. The IRS is not your daughter, you can't blame "influence." They are a branch of adult men who saw themselves as trustworthy enough to handle America's hard earned money. THEY need to be held accountable for their own actions.

One more bad news from IRS. I will never accept any gifts from my employer. We should get prepared to pay higher taxes - that's just the beginning!http://irsofferandcompromise.com
