"They won't ever fool me again."Right on!Im going to vote for Obama so I can make sure my taxes go through the roof. You're not keeping money in my pocket, Mr. GOP, if I have anything to say about it!!!!
Yeah, well I personally wouldn't do any business with a site that required my SSN. I work in the network security industry, and companies do the bare minimum to keep things secure. It often isn't enough. In fact, if you knew how many companies stored your personal information, you wouldn't do business with them anymore.
Those two republicans look promising however they'd probably let the right-winged nutjubs continue to run amok. Furthermore one of the factors that make those two candidates stick out is the fact that the rest of the Republican leadership/candidacy is made up of absolute morons. Doesn't mean Democrats are the answer, but they look more and more like the lesser evil.
Detailed buyer information is irrelevant to collecting sales tax. When necessary, you pay sales tax to the merchant, and the merchant is responsible for passing that on to the state. Many businesses on eBay already collect sales tax when selling to people within the state where their business is registered.
Vguard read my post above. Go and google seventh fire and read the truth about the irs. It will amaze you. No, not my page, I'm showing you just like somone else showed me.
That is essentially correct. If someone makes all their income on Ebay it is essentially tax free if that person chooses not to report it. Excluding people under $5,000 will probably leave out 99.5% of users. The rest are doing some serious business and should pay taxes like the rest of us.
Even if the income tax is illegal do you REALLY think that will stop the government from throwing you in jail if you refuse to pay it? Besides, you are required to fill out a form and sign it when you start any job with an employer. You tell them how much to withhold. You have to sign it so they have you there. Then, at the end of the year, if you want to get any more money back you have to fill out another form, and sign it.People who work "regular" jobs are particularly screwed from the civil disobedience sense because they are easy to find and punish. Sellers on Ebay may actually have a better shot because the money they "owe" is owed based on statute and you never signed anything with the government. However, they will still throw you in jail--it is really just a theoretical discussion.
