blog.wired.com — With the iPhone v2.1 software out of the door, Apple is hard at work on v2.2. It's possible that Apple is taking so long to implement copy and paste not because it is difficult, but because Apple is reinventing it.

In all fairness, I know people that two buttons confuse. Maybe the average *person* can deal, but certainly not the average *idiot*.

Apple: We'll ship it with a one button mouse because we built the OS around being able to use one button, but yeah, you can use a two button mouse if you want.Since what, System 8? Early 90s? Before that? I can't quite remember.

Actually I was cursing my iPhone for it's lack of copy/paste just today. Wanted to copy a really long train reservation code from an email into a note but of course couldn't. It's very much necessary.

I think what was meant was, why not combine the search and address bars, so they don’t have to display both.
