From Sandman to Preacher to Transmet, to The Invisibles and V for Vendetta, Vertigo comics have been the comics of my adult life. They kept me in comics when I outgrew simplistic superhero stories, and they continue to amaze, horrify, entertain, and enlighten me to this day.
