actually I'd also like 1920x1200p support w/ the VGA adapter. I paid £600 on a new 24" monitor (for the PC + xbox). I can't use the component inputs for my monitor (as the max. resolution is 1080i for some reason), but the fscking vga thing wont do 1920x1200 (or proper 1920x1080 for that matter)./rant
Umm...because Live for Windows is rolling out, so the PC and XBox folks can chat with each other through Live Messenger. I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but not all of the PC "peeps" have microphones on hand. They use this magical device called the "keyboard".Come back next week and I'll explain this new technology called "text-messaging". It's crazy...they have it on cell phones even though cell phones have mics and stuff already. I know, kooky, right?
See, the XBox 360 has a myriad of online capabilities. This keyboard is for the purpose of sending and recieving Instant Messages to MSN Messenger and other XBox 360s via the internet. The XBox 360 currently has X360-to-X360 voice (now, up to 6 people in a group chat) and video. Now you'll be able to IM chat with MSN Messenger (on PC). From the look of things, video and voice-chat are shortcoming (fall update?).How does the PS3 voice, video and text chat work?
This device is only for chatting, its not like you must keep it connected while you play games. It is perfect for its purpose, its small and fits nicely with the design. I would rather have this then use a fullsize keyboard, dont need another large device sitting around.

If they could add video or audio conversations between the 360 and Live Messenger next then I might actually buy the 360 camera :)
