Safari had it first. Firefox still doesn't have it. Did any browser have it before Safari?

It is (bad) if you build websites for a living. It has abysmal standards support, it has it's own way of doing things, it's slow, buggy (yes it is) and it holds back the progression of web technologies. Because there is such a massive length of time between version releases, and then even longer before there is a large install base of it, you can't take full advantage of great new techniques and technologies.I wish MS would just forget about IE and bundle Firefox with Windows.....or at least use Gecko or WebKit as the rendering engine.

except Plugins are generally things like flash/shockwave/javastealthier is an extensionsomething that is not a DLL and the program filesExtensions run in Firefox using gecko for xul stuff, and they add features that can easily be removed, via the extensions area in tools>addons.Plugins cant be removed as easily, and they are generally used to render non web content in webpages, such as a flash game, or a embedded windows media player, and make them work.flash can be used as an extension to make installation easier for Firefox users, but I don't think its as easy to remove as any other extensions, that being said I'm not sure

My digg submission goes into detail on the new features of IE8 - Beta 2, including the several new privacy features. There's some pretty cool stuff in it. Not to mention it's faster than FF3.http://digg.com/software/Hands_on_with_Internet_Ex ...
