blogs.msdn.com— "We’ve decided that IE8 will, by default, interpret web content in the most standards compliant way it can. This decision is a change from what we’ve posted previously."

While I agree and dugg this comment, I feel it is pathetic that Microsoft would have to announce that will will follow standards. It should be implied. I'm so glad I switched to Apple over a year ago.
But min-height wasn't. That's one of the biggest things. Plus rendering the borders within the size of the divs. You know what I'm talking about. Oh, yes.
So basically, Microsoft has finally decided to play nice and stop making up their own s**t standards for everything. I can't give MS a pat on the back for doing their job for once.

In part due to the fact that the standards keep continuing to grow.

I don't get people bitching about how we must "make pages compatible with IE6", it's like the railroad would have support for steam locomotives today…

That would be correct.Standards mode by default.Garbage mode for those too lazy to update their code.

Its already been said, but I find it hard to give praise to Microsoft for toeing the line. They should only get praise when they do something good not when they stop doing something bad.http://vb.paramegsoft.com/11/http://vb.paramegsoft.com/40/http://vb.paramegsoft.com/49/
