latimes.com — "It hurts to hear the criticism," said executive producer and writer Howard Gordon, "But it's reinvigorated our determination to reinvent the show. This year could be seen to be the last iteration of it in its current state."

He doesn't need to bring anyone back but scrap half the cast, this season looked good but its just the same s**t again, the first few seasons were good but this one is so predictable. Did they not notice when making it the predictable nature, and just how crap it was on screen to anyone who watched previous season(hell some bits i swear have been used before they are just reassembling the plots in a different order). Also i watch it and i actually feel sympathy for the terrorists they seem to be the good guys half the time or at least the not as bad guys. I don't know about anyone else i think i might be rooting for the chinese now the "terrorists" are dead. And its not as if its got enough action to make it forgivable some of the eps have had so little violence it was like watching an after school special or some kind of daytime soap. I can forgive it if its non stop violence but this soppy s**t is so boring i DL the eps and just skip the talking bits(and if you can do that without losing the plot the show is f**ked). More guns, change the location a bit, get some new angles something fresh and interesting. And maybe follow the bad guys/good guys again i know its realistic but seriously it makes you want to be a terrorist sometimes.

Simply put, not enough Jack. Not enough action scenes, not enough fighting, not enough Jack being Jack. They keep adding these pointless storylines that no one cares about. They've also put some over the top storylines in place that are so far from believable that is hurts the show. 24 WAS a great show, but it looks like it has jumped the shark. Hopefully they get back to what made it great in Season 7.

I watch 24 on my DVR, and I now just hit the fast foward button anytime jack isn't on the screen. It's sad, and shallow, but then again so are the other characters.

That must be why the military and government has criticized the show for having too many torture scenes, right?

What about having 24 set in another time period? Like the Cold War? That would be cool to have mobsters and Russian spys.Or 24: New York or 24: Las Vegas edition?

wait a minute guys ok it aint no season 5 but this seasons been pretty cool. yeah there has been some crazy s**t that has happened a few times before - BUTTTT thats what shows do and its been fun. Its still a lot better than 90% of the shows out there and the way you guys talk about it, its gonna get cancelled. Next season will probably be jack in the war if he is still alive

if nothing else, season 6 was worth it for the vampire bite.

Here's a novel idea:Next time Jack informs CTU that their intel is wrong, how 'bout they believe him the first time around? You know, since he's NEVER WRONG. Don't they keep records over there? Would save a lot of time. Then, instead of "24", it could just be "4". You can lose the other 20 hours of Jack trying to convince CTU not to act on their own intel and acting on his own.
