Look, that is such a loaded question...I don't have the military expertise, etc. to be able to propose the "right" answer. No, I'm not saying bomb the whole country...that is ridiculous and you are painting those that disagree with Obama with a broad brush and it's ignorant. There are rational solutions that do not call for bombing the whole country. But I do know that doing nothing and being politically-correct is not the answer. And so far, our president has been soft on terrorists...in fact, he won't even call it that.He is not a leader and someone I feel will keep us safe.

I've recently had discussions with people on Digg who are in favor of the indiscriminate deployment of nuclear weapons as a valid response... So you may be surprised by the responses.
Yemen is in a strategic geographic position for the transport of oil- and as Noiseache says it provides a nice launch pad. Are there still that many Americans who think our involvement in the Middle East has anything to do with anything but oil?? If Muslims hate us maybe, just maybe it's b/c we've invaded their countries and bombed the crap out of their countries, killing civilians and displacing many thousands of civilians. If anyone in the Middle East resists, our gov labels them a "terrorist", and if any American protests at home for a focus upon a peace time economy label them an "unrealistic nutcase".

Still holding? Don't stop! The threat isn't clear yet. We'll let you know when it's time to release.

He is escalating the war in Afghanistan. He's done nothing to get us out of Iraq. Now he is saber rattling at Yemen

He's following the timeline Bush negotiated for withdrawing from Iraq. And he said during the campaign he was going to escalate things in Afghanistan.
