techcrunch.com — When I first read about Hunch?s Twitter Predictor game, I was pretty skeptical. The game asks you to put in your Twitter user name and based on who you follow and who you are followed by, it predicts how you will answer questions on Hunch. Then I used it. It?s awesome. Well, pretty awesome.

My point exactly, it's stupid.

I did the game as leolaporte, it was surprisingly accurate for what I assume leo is like.

It was the second or third question that came up, I thought it was throwing me a softball, giving me a questions it knew would be right to try and base the rest of the answers on. Too bad really, because a service like this that actually DID use data compiled from twitter would be awesome.

I can predict digg users. You will either be strongly for or against health care reform and Obama. You will either be strongly in love with or hate Apple. You will either strongly believe or disbelieve global climate change. You will say "f**k the RIAA."

I have no idea who Adriana Lima is, and that's what I would have chosen.

Ignoring the fluff questions, when it got down to the difficult questions (ones where I'd like a different response) it was pretty accurate with the one I eventually chose. But most of them were based on personality - once it figured out I'm an introvert, it really hammered on that.

90% of the answers can be predicted solely by looking at my age and gender! I'm also calling bs
