Did you even read my post? I wasn't saying the Bible was scientific. I was saying I think the idea of a higher being creating us was uninspiring... and that the science behind our existence is much more appealing to me. Even with all our faults, we're still a success story in nature.
"Genetic" historians like Spenser Wells are just novelists dressed up like scientists. They pick a grain of sand off the beach and tell you what the cave men ate in France. It's more junk science.
