wired.com — Hulu, the online TV service launched two years ago by Fox and NBC, has enjoyed incredible success with viewers — too much, it may turn out. While we, the freedom-loving community, might love Hulu for giving us a legal alternative, the overseeing eyes of the industry are more than displeased with the success that has come with the online video boom.

Declining Ad Sales mostly because of the economy. Ad spaces are CHEAP right now. And honestly as happy as I am with the short commercial breaks on HULU, I think I'd submit to a few more ad's in there if I received on demand access to HD programming. Though I'd obviously rather not.

My daughter is doing just that in college. That way she can watch TV shows when she has time, last year se found out she watched cable very little, almost 100% hulu. This year no cable. That $50 she now has for drinking money :/

Yeah, CTV is not awesome. But if you want to watch TV and care more about story than quality, it's a great place to lookI mean, it's on demand. It's not torrent for an hour then watch the show.If you really care about quality, you don't watch any streaming video.

Any smart cable company would realize this and keep the website up. People who watch TV off of their computers are just going to torrent the shows without commericials.

You don't say "first of all" if you only have one point.
