gearthblog.com — First reported here on June 9th for Google Earth, Google Maps now also has this huge update to its Aerial/Satellite photos. Over 4X the number of satellite photos in high resolution (40 cm/pixel or better) - one third of the world's population. Amazing!

Is that the Wellington Airport? If so I've eaten lunch and walked under the landing planes on that beach. Pretty darn loud. Wow.
