engadget.com — What do you get when you take a product used by hundreds of millions of people every day, add a few new features / polish up the interface, and then try to get everyone to shell out a grip of money for this delay- and bug- plagued upgrade?

Technically, SATA drives are hot-swappable. That said, you should be able to configure some drives (such as internal drives) to not appear in that list.

It would be nice to see a pop up every now and then that reminds you to upgrade to Mac OSX. And have it so you can't get rid of it.

Hi Matt, Can you confirm that with your Quad Core processor in Windows XP PRO that you see 4 CPU processors listed in Task Manager? I only show two and for the life of me can't get a conclusive answer as if that is correct or not. The savvy folks at BFG said that XP can show no more than two, but I thought with XP Pro the physical limitation is 2 processors, and since this is only 1 physical with 4 logically, I was expecting to see all 4. Any verification or knowledge is much appreciated. Thanks.

It's the small things that get me. Like not having the total size of folder contents (or drive free space) automatically displayed at the bottom of an explorer window, even when the old "status bar" is enabled.
