The actual chemicals aren't hard to get. You can order them from any online science catalog. But to me it just seems like something cool that I could do, but would never get around to.
Kick ass website. I miss the old days of the Anarchist's and Jolly Roger cookbooks. Now a days you might be investigated for terrorism if you had either one on hand.
OK.. lets see how much these guys cost to make..First off I'm going to use the prices at skylighter.com even though you can't order everything together according to this statement:Stop! This Order Cannot Be Processed The items you have ordered could be used to make explosive devices (ie: M80s or ground salutes). The manufacture of such items is prohibited by both Federal law and the laws of all 50 states, unless you are licensed for manufacturing high explosives by either your state and/or the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). Skylighter is prohibited by law from selling you any combination of items which can be used to make exploding devices, unless you have a BATFE Type 20 High Explosive Manufacturing license. You should never confuse any device made of flash powder or gun powder with Dynamite, TNT or any other high explosive...While a large amount of flash powder can burn with enough intensity to be considered a high explosive, Dynamite has no orgins to M-80's...Originally M-80's were made by the military for use as live fire simulators for training...they were made similar to the artical except they were made with a 1/2 inch tube 1.5 inches long and a 1/8 inch wall on a spiral wound tube...
