I am very honest. I find it hard to hold the truth in even when it would be to my benefit to keep it. These clues for catching someone lying do not help me much because I need solid evidence to really know if someone is dishonest

This demonstrates a very superficial knowledge of an NLP method/technique. I would doubt if any serious NLP practitioner would make such an emphatic statement about the use of this technique for detecting lies.
