devindotcomWell, if you're not on a Windows system, this story isn't for you. As for me, I have a Mac and a PC, so this is handy when that random file shows up that is forever "in use." Quit sniping and leave the story to those for whom it is intended.
"2) If you kill explorer.exe through task manager in the way they describe, it will frequently restart itself immediately."Uh no, explorer restarts itself only after it's crashed.. if you kill the process manually it will not restart
ElectroBot you are incorrect when you say consoles are better for gaming, maybe you just don't want to buy a new PC and can't face reality but Counter-Strike is the best online game so far and you can't get it on Linux/Mac.
I'm sorry to tell you this but your average magnet is not powerful enough to damage a hard driv, that is just an urban legend. You will need to get some industrial strength magnets or an electromagnet to damage the data on a hard drive and seeing as how you get "payed" rather than "paid" I suppose it makes sense your work is just fixing computers.btw the other comments you've made on this article are good and i've dugg em up, not sure why that other guy it in for you. I'll add you to friends list so I can keep track of your comments in future.
Thanks fellas for your comments.I like persons who have opinion for several problems, and i hate people that the only problem they have,is why a storie is on digg.
