What the hell are you rambling about? You talk to some person in India, they ask you for your hardware ID number (the first set of numbers) and how many machines you have that copy of Windows installed on..They don't ask you for your name or any other personal info, and it doesn't matter what phone number you are calling from. What personal info is there for them to gain by you calling to activate?
I wont support piracy anyway.. if you dont have money to purchase things... then go to OpenSource world. DO NOT spoil other people's business. This is not like.. supporting M$... we must give some respect for people who do things as business... Buy software if you have moneyElse GO TO OPENSOURCE... dont theif other's work....
It's also key to say you bought it at a retail store and that it's not an OEM copy. OEM copies cannot be transferred between machines. If you do say it's an OEM copy, then you have to say somethingl like "the motherboard failed and they had to replace it"
im pretty sure he pulled it cause i noticed he left his product id open for microsoft/the world to note down :P even tho u can't probably use it for anything(normal ppl) but im sure MS could use it to figure out how cdkey.
Try again. It's called Caller ID. They know what number your calling from, because of that they know what your address is. If you were to do this to many times they they will put you on a watch list and give you more and more crap for using software that you payed money for.
