While Python is indeed a great (and my favourite) language, and the guide is definitely nice, this is far from news (I used it when starting and that's quite a while ago), so I reported it as old news. At the same time, I recommend people to read this, since it's an awesome resource.It's just not news.

Computer science is about computers, as astronomy is about telescopes. This is a good starter to get into programming w/ python, and some of the various data structures to use as tools, but that's all it is. Wanna start thinking like a computer scientist? Let's talk about compiler optimization, database theory, npc theory, automata and so forth.

Thanks for the (mostly) positive comments about the book.
