Of course I'm addicted to technology and I have no desire to change that fact. It is technology that keeps us from falling into the death and destruction that is nature and the wilderness. Bring on the implants say!

It's been shown that addiction has a chemical component within the brain that has proved sometimes detrimental to those involved. Being addicted to a substance has the added danger of a secondary chemical that compounds the internal mechanism. Otherwise, the concept is the same, and thus requires a similar amount of study and attention to overwhelm.
