It's hard enough asking the Subway employees to "cut it the old way". Subway's unique cut was what made them more enticing than their competitors, now they all cut the subs the same as their competitors("hot dog bun style") and don't teach them the old way.
If only I had interest in starting a bagel chain. This would at least be good for August Möbius's birthday every November 17th, although people would just wonder why the bagels are shaped differently suddenly, so every day would be a better idea. It would certainly set the restaurant apart from others.Unfortunately, we had 2 bagel places in our area once and they're both closed down, so I think it would only do well if sold on ThinkGeek.com.The automatic slicer would also be expensive.
