aynrand.org — ...the current level of government involvement in the economy is almost unprecedented in American history...even though the current housing and financial crisis was brought about by government regulations, controls, and widespread interference with the markets, all we hear from the left and the right are calls for more government regulations.

I think the first step is a return to the principles set forth in our Constitution and the limits that were imposed on the federal government. We The People have allowed our politicians to make themselves masters when they are our servants. This is evident because we have allowed ourselves to be deceived by our government that promises things will get better if you give us the authority to tax your incomes (IRS), control your banks (Federal Reserve) , control your children (Public Education), control you by assigning you a national ID number (Social Security number) that you must have and can't refuse. Why do We The People allow the government that was created by us to serve us become our masters? It appears that another power grab is in the works with the so called Financial Crisis or was that created to for more control. When will We The People wake up and demand our freedoms back?
