The install he refers to in the video is made specifically for the Wind. I'm sure you could hack it to work on any other netbook but this install is made to be more click-and-go.

Exactly. In between ripping my 3 grand MBP out as fast as I can while trying to get my belt and shoes back on going through airport security, trying to fit it on the cramped chair tray while it gets bumped the whole time, and leaving it in a hotel room for some shady maid to come clean, I'm always wishing for a smaller, cheaper computer I can toss around and leave behind without a second thought.

Why should Apple offer cheap flimsy budget laptops? Why do some people feel they have the right to Apple goods on the cheap? Macbooks are premium products. The build quality, bundled software, support service and resale value reflect this. Please, Apple, don't become the next Dell.

Wired had to pull the video because of lawsuit threats from Apple. Anyone have a cached copy anywhere?

We have the Asus 10in. Runs the Atom 1.6 / 1GB RAM / 160GB HDD.Runs great. Better than you'd think. This Asus has about the same body as the S, but this has a stereo mic.. that's the only diff I see.
