Protip: unplug keyboard when you're unplugging your power adapter it to go mobile. It adds all of two seconds, and $10 of equipment to it.And yes, you picked up on the point that you need to SEPARATE the display and keyboard to have them on separate planes. So if you want to use your laptop's display on a stand, you'd need a separate keyboard.Or do what I do at home and use a wireless bluetooth keyboard, and your laptop automagically picks it up when you put it on the stand. And for the record: I f**king hate digg for Technology now. There's slim to none chance of actually getting expert opinion here anymore. I guess you guys have never heard of docking solutions? I'm working from a docking station, with external mouse, keyboard, and monitor as we speak. I have the ergonomics of a desktop, and I can undock and carry it away with me. Why have two complete machines when all you want is two different interfaces?

+1 for flower pot power.

That's true, but I was really only trashing the design/stability. An external keyboard/mouse is always nicer to use than the respective components on the laptop.
