maxkiesler.com — "AJAX is a great tool for creating rich internet applications, however, when improperly implemented it can cause hugh accessibility issues. The good news is that most of these issues can be fixed so your websites are viewable by a much wider audience."

::From the first link in the submitted article::>Myth 2. All accessibility issues must be fixed>Our attitudes to these disabilities should also vary between accessibility issues. We can't ignore>blind people from a moral or legal standpoint. Why is it illegal to "ignore" blind people by not providing accessibility when designing a web interface? My site is not a government-based site which requires it's citizens to visit in order to access important information. Why can't I "discriminate through laziness" like so many B&M places do today?Just a rant...

I agree, it's silly. Especially lawsuits about it. If I build something that's inaccessible to someone, and it doesn't really matter to me, then that should just be the way it is. I mean obviously not if it was something life or death, ok that's different, but we're talking about web sites here. It's your web site, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want with it.
