I'm sorry, but i were to trust one guy to know what the f**k he was doing in the wilderness, it'd be the guy who was a former SAS operative.

"And he's so lamely sensitive to small creatures that he's going to eat anyway, for survival. "wtf? He says he doesn't like to kill any living thing but everything if fair game when you become part of the food chain. If anything, it shows how realistic he is about his feelings toward nature. As opposed to taking a PETA member out in the wild and watching them stave to death because they don't want to eat a grub they find. And yes, I'd rather learn from the guy who puts his money where his mouth is and actually puts his ass on the line by not having a crew there with him. If someone is that confident in their skills and actually are able to survive, he's the one I'd want to learn from. Sure Bear is probably pretty good too having all that training from the military. He could probably do what Les does, but it would be more convincing if he actually stayed any extended period of time alone like Les does.

You forgot to slow your descent by adopting the "skydiver" position. Next time, remember to lie prone, arching your back, with arms and legs outstretched. Your terminal velocity will be lower, and you'll be less likely to splatter all over the ground like you just did.
