Americans don't have cooking oil, their too busy eating out at Mc Donalds. I can see big business though for fast food chains, as they could be the provider of cooking oil for the millions of Americans who're currently without cooking oil. Think Mc Doanlds fuel stations, you heard it here first. Theres actually a big market for refined cooking oil. I mean you would get so many different brands of cooking oil coming out, claiming to be in some way different to its nearest rival, in relation to "Our cooking oil is the best for your automobile". Just like CocaCola decided to do for drinking water.
Grease and Biodiesel is a great alternative, however it's illegal in some states, to collect oil without a licence, which is mucho expensive, and grease can easily ruin your car's fuel pump, same with poorly made bio. Last, some laws impose you pay a road tax if you use your own fuel as you do not buy fuel and thus do not pay the hidden road tax costs of comercial fuels. I hope to see comercial biodiesel pumps in the future, making it takes far too long (10+hrs) , it's super hard to get enough oil, you can severely mess up your engine, and it may be illegal in your state.
