These are terrible results - her skin looks like it's made of wax and is way overdone - I don't care what concepts this teaches new beginners, if the results aren't good, it encourages the same bad results to others. Please do yourself (and the person PHOTOGRAPHED) a favor by not destroying a face.
HugeSaks, thanks for posting this article, I am trying to find the original unaltered photo, but the link is no longer valid, any chance you might have it?Anyone else?

From what I've seen I'm not sure you've really got the hang of it... tee hee. This one's rubbish and she's a fake (<a class="user" href="http://www.rmstudio.com/lisa/lisaserver04.jpg)">http://www.rmstudio.com/lisa/lisaserver04.jpg)</a>

Did anyone else open this at work and have a heart palpitation when they saw what looked a porn page loading?

Yes. But acne covered Myspace users would. :)

Great tutorial. I have been doing a lot of digital re-touching for people's photos lately. I follow some of the same steps too. But there is one plug in that I have that really adds a final touch. Grain Surgery.<a class="user" href="http://www.visinf.com/">http://www.visinf.com/</a>Though it does have good grain effects, it also is a great filter to smooth out grain and other imperfections in digital photos (especially old ones). I would check it out. This ain't a plug. There are many others out there. Here's a review of all of them...<a class="user" href="http://www.michaelalmond.com/Articles/noise_print.html">http://www.michaelalmond.com/Articles/noise_print.html</a>
