hardware-revolution.com — 2008 will be remembered as the year where the laptops will outsell their desktop counterparts. Where are the mobile computers headed to? I predict that the mobile revolution is bound to happen for the new decade, with mobile computer replacing desktops.

My office has become 99% laptop: lower power consumption means savings on electricity, and less excess heat to get rid of with costly air conditioning. Laptops are the "green" alternative.

Probably not but given that a desktop is, by definition, pretty much nailed to the desk a laptop is a much more practical solution.
