I just interviewed guys at Crunchyroll, prior to my even reading this article, and much of what we talked about contradicts what's Anime Almanac proclaims here-- such as that TV Tokyo "forced" Crunchyroll to go legit, which is absolutely not true. (Friend me if you want to be notified when my interview goes live.)I really wish he'd open up comments; there's so much potential for *dialogue* on these.

Don't listen to this guy. His articles are based on a twisted bias against the internet Anime community. He is so caught up in his own beliefs that it is akin to religious zealotry. Notice that he has comments disabled? It's because that his "facts" could not stand up to criticism from the community. Sure, he looks like he knows what he is talking about. But if you dig a little into the subject it all turns out to be bulls**t.

I didn't even know that the Japanese had lost their claim on the internet. When did this happen?
