No, he's giving a very select few entities in his district very large gifts. If the end goal is to change the system, I fail to see how Ron Paul advocates for change by porking it up with the rest of Congress and directing federal funds to be spent on projects that clearly have no Constitutional authorization.
Maybe he should take your advice and stop inserting earmarks for his district in budgets. The money he returns with these little shows pales by many orders of magnitude compared.
Take a look at the voting records. When pork barrel budget appropriations occur, Ron Paul ALWAYS VOTES NO, but since the rest of congress is so eager to spend the taxes from his district, he tries his best to get the money back to them.
