I wish they figured out how good a show was based on the downloads from pirate websites, because some of my favorite shows are dowloaded more then watched I am afraid... :(If those darn movie studios just let us download the episodes with commercials, it would be awesome.
@ migitalwarfareYou aren't watching it for free on cable television. You're paying for cable television and then you've got ads in and around the show that actually cover the costs of broadcasting the show.Depending on how much cable tv you watch you might even be paying more.
The American version is terrible. The Gareth alternative is one of the worst actors i've ever seen, not to mention he's played so far over the top as to be cringeworthy anyway. The British version is just so much better in every respect, the primary one being that it's actually funny.
For those clueless enough to spout about what the diff between Torrent and iTunes is...iTunes is paying for the bandwidth, they are providing the file in high quality and commercial free. If you want to get it from Bit Torrent, more power to you, but to expect iTunes to provide it with commercials for free only shows your complete ignorance of how the world works. You are apparently too lazy to do anything but "download from others" and you're not even willing to pay for the convenience.

I tried watching the British version once but I couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying!

Bah, both are funny, Arrested Development was just hysterically more funny. AD was the funniest sitcom I've ever seen.

I now all of the sudden love iTunes. I don't mind the crashing anymore.
