What is the source? Anybody could write an article on how they speculate google detects invalid clicks. Buried for being lame, and possibly inaccurate.
Sad truth is that Google is alowing this, nothing worse then to see my hard paid AdWords shown on some blog where it is clicked by some hippie all over again. Why is Google allowing those fakers? Those link sites, empty sites etc. to have ads in the first place?
Personally, I find it easier to read. With black text on a white background I usually highlight it to invert it. Maybe cos I grew up on dos and then linux terminals.

Google is all knowing. I wouldn't mess with them.
