It really pains me to see the comments for this article. The article is QUITE good. It is an extremely well written and helpful article for bloggers. Also, ProBlogger is an phenomenal site for bloggers who are looking to monetize their blog. The content offered by the site is usually top of the line and FAR from what I would call "spam"Now, I can see where the "blogs are the cesspool of the internet" come from, but unfortunately you are S.O.L. on this issue. Blogs are on the internet, a lot of people have them, and chances are you read them whether you know it or not. The idea that an article does not deserve a digg just because it talks about blogging or is on a blog, is ludicrous. Isn't the idea of digg to have good articles make it to the front page?

"actual journalists"?Like the guys over at the New York Times and Weekly Standard who were simply making up stories out of thin air?Like the media-opoly of corporate controlled television, radio and print?What could be more patriotic than blogging? What could be a better confirmation of the power of the 1st Amendment? How does the decentralized model of blog-media hurt anyone? Don't like a TV show? Flip the channel. Don't like a blog? Go somewhere else. Why is that not good enough for some people?
