torrentfreak.com— Back in August we reported that Comcast was limiting BitTorrent traffic. Comcast denied our allegations, even though we had some pretty solid evidence.

It's hilarious you think broadband internet is an "essential service".Get dial up if you don't want to use Comcast and no other broadband is available.
Not using Comcast, however I portforward & setup my bittorrent clients to use use other high traffic ports: port 1723/1724 , 3389 or 5900. Frankly, I don't know if it makes a difference at all but at first glance it *must* look like I'm using VPN, Terminal Services or Remote Desktop connections (VNC or pcany).
Switching ISPs is not a valid solution for most of us. Many of us live in areas where they are the ONLY ISP we can get. I tried everything, man. I'm too far out for DSL, not enough sky available for satellite, no wireless broadband in the area... Why don't YOU TELL ME what ISP I can switch to?

Tell ya what, I'll switch ISPs if you can find me one... otherwise, please stop acting like that is a viable option.
