WallOS,"Feminist literary theory seeking to politicize religion..."Ohhhh, poor baby, girls just don't like you, do they? What made you so bitter and conspiracy-oriented? Did ya get dumped by a pretty girl in college? Or maybe it's the size ...Don't be so nasty to women, dude. Lighten up!Hahahaha
What kind of religion is it? if a popular fiction and a movie can overthrow or shaken it?? Then let this religion died. It is only a fiction writing by some joe called Dan Brown anyway. Why people make such a fuss about it. Get a life first before you want it to last forever.
We all agree it's fiction, but the only reason the church is making such a fuss is because they know that it's possible or even plausibe fiction. They are scared that some of thir flock might actually start thinking for themselves instead of swallowing what they've been fed for years.
I applaud Dan Brown. anyone who can write stuff on paper and say its true and get the entire world all in a fuss gets diggs from me. I didn't like the da vinci code so much. angels and demons was a much cooler book
I think people are misinterpreting the preface. In movies, like Blair Witch and others mind you, we are told something is non fiction as a marketing ploy. One should reflect on the Da Vinci Code in the same light, and not take it all so seriously. Some people were upset to discover it was just a ploy, that the movie footage was not real, they felt somewhat cheated. Believe me a lot of people at the time it released in theaters did believe it to be real before seeing it, because it was marketed that way.Same with Da Vinci Code.
HowStuffWorks.com just lost some respect from me. Its obviously a fictional novel, also I had watched a History Channels piece on the Knights Templar and at least the History Channel beleives that Friday the 13th was the day that the Knights Templar were arressted and tortured..
