I sincerely totally understand where he is coming from. I have thought a lot about giving up my job which pays well for something that gives me more independence. There is a cost to the high paying jobs most of the time. Company politics, stressing about your idiot boss and coworkers and worrying if you will get laid off or fired. Personally I wouldn't want to work at Starbucks but I might try to open my own business even if it pays way less.
