If I could Digg this article again, I would. It's very well written and a great insight to some of the inner workings of these movie makers. The fact that they used such an incredible game makes it even better.I was on the fence about seeing this movie before, but now I'm sold.

Erm, I'll tell you straight out how the themes match.Colossus is a Sony developed game, and Reign Over Me is a Sony produced film. It's like all the pieces fell into place! Sony have a HUGE track record of cross promoting their wares, and not that I blame them, but this is just another example.Nice to see Kotaku back in bed with Sony again.
Since its release, this has been my favorite game of all time. With Ico coming in 2nd. Fumito Ueda and Team Ico are THE best game developers on the planet. While everyone else is making endless FPS, copy cat platformers and games based on movies, these guys are making instant classics. If you are of the group that considers games as art, these guys are at the forefront. Besides Seeds(formerly Clover), no one comes close.
That was a very interesting read and it actually makes me want to see the movie more. And it's not just because it includes some footage of a game I love, but because it seems (from the article at least) to be portrayed in a way that's true to the artistic view of the game developers. Trust me, you have to be an artist to create a game like Shadow.
