thedailybeast.com— Despite sagging poll numbers, the president has bottomed out, and Republicans still lack the leaders and the ideas to beat him, argues former Bush strategist Mark McKinnon.

I would be willing to accept Obama for a second term if we can unf**k congress and vote enough incumbents (of both parties) out in November. But congress stays the same, having Obama and Congress for another term would be disastrous.
Insurance companies cannot drop someone who was insured before their illness happened. Also if you keep up with your premiums they cannot legally drop you as the law stands now. I fall into this category. I have a disability that developed while I was insured. As long as I keep up with my payments for my insurance they have to cover me. This whole health care situation is just another way for people to get something out of someone else.
@PhotoJustinAha! So much righteous indignation did have some effect. They're dropping deem-and-pass. See, I was right. They thought they could slip it thru and no one would notice."House Democratic leaders say they will take a separate vote on the Senate health care bill, rejecting an earlier, much-criticized strategy that would have permitted them to "deem" the measure passed without an explicit vote."
@dagamer34,I'm sure FenderJazzBass knows that 60 senators is a supermajority and they now have only 59, but I think he was responding to the OP's comment about having this done and over with by July or August of last year. They had their supermajority and still couldn't get it passed.
Sad but true. If she is nominated I wouldn't be surprised if her running mate was that moron Glen Beck. The way he talks you would think he worked for the National Enquirer, oh wait Fox News has less credibility than that tabloid, maybe that's why he's on there.

he might be down, i really dont care. poll numbers are the most fickle numbers to track.Obama is what, in the low 40s depending on bad polls? Reagan had low 30s after his first year, and he got re-elected.Polls are useless, especially for predicting the futurehttp://www.gallup.com/poll/11887/ronald-reagan-fro ...

Only if you get your poll numbers of Fox News.

Confirmed by the existence of Fox News and the fact that they have enough of an audience to stay in business.
