While I hate to interrupt the parental glurge fest this discussion has devolved into I feel compelled to note that the urge to procreate - that is, the compulsion to pass your genes on and to ensure the survival of your genetic line - EVEN in the face of the massive overpopulation, pollution and resource crisis modern societies are just starting to comprehend - well, that's probably the most completely selfish act I can think of. Awww...you had a baby. What a selfless decision...it's not like you're built to produce more organisms just like you, or have a tremendously strong internal biological drive to ensure your cooperation with the process. How selfless.
