It is a trust issue.I deal with the partners of where I work and I worked long enough and built my reputation that I will not compromise any of what they tell me.They are out of the office alot and when they have an issue they leave me their login and tell me to have it fixed and they will be back when they get out of their meeting.

You're a legend, I have a saying I always say to myself... (cant really say much more for people who might search for me on digg using my email from MSN) But WOW!!! They should of said that in the article, personally I think he was just advertising that software about privacy online...

Yes. Proxies defeat that checking algorithm. Many sites don't employee an account lockout. The ones that do aren't targeted, because many people use the same password for everything.

Here's what I recommend to my users to balance ease of use with securityTake two of your favorite things.Hobby and food.Let's say golf and pizza.Now take your address and put it in the middle "golf87653pizza"Next, capitalize the first letters of each word like so "Golf87653Pizza"Voila! VERY secure password, and if you cannot remember your favorite hobby, food, that both start with capital letters and that your address goes on the middle, well then I suggest another line of work, because you are too stupid to use a computer.

I always worry that someone will steal my computer, then I'd be f**ked. I recently started using FireFound though, it's the one thing that keeps me using Firefox rather than switching to Chrome.

Or write it down on a sticky note, on the monitor, in their cube that is in a publicly accessible area...This was also the same person who asked me to check why her computer was slow and had at least 6+ browser bars, they took up nearly half her IE window, and yes it was IE6.
