Great idea! then when a song comes on you dont like, you have to fast forward instead fo skipping the track! ANd I bet it's real fun when your significant other comes home and has no idea whats going on, changes the channel and you get the last half of a lifetime movie!

Oh and you'll need the 'aspi32.dll' for 2k and XP...http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/WNASPI32.DLL.html

Music piracy will always be a good thing with billionaire shark-lawyer-defended ripoffs in "control" of the market. Quotation-marks included there because they are not in control. Consumers are. We are.On my empty CD-recordables (the Netherlands) they already added a certain percentage that goes to RIAA to compensate for illegal use of these empty discs. I bought hundreds of those things for data backups (non illegal software). I think I'm entitled to a whole bunch of "illegal" music.

That letter was inspirational. Now I think I'll go "pirate" some more old ppl music files that I already purchased once or twice in another format.

Aye old man, welcome aboard. Whether it be torrents, p2p, or just plain old files sharing sites, help your self to a glass of shut-the-f**k-up-RIAA! May gold bless your DRM free soul!

The author has mentioned very much a vital topic today. It seems to me that the problematics of this clause enables to reflect and draw conclusions. You can as to look sites in Russian which mention this theme: http://www.rolid.org http://www.se-ua.com

LATE for EDIT follow up:The point is- that seeing this just makes me want people to stop being so damn proud of themselves and so selfish and really think about what their actions add up to in the mob mentality. The perfect service for all of us could be around the corner, but as long as the war is on too few will agree that it would work. Filesharing is great, but it has no conscience. My greatest fear is that a lack of ethics in the digital age is going to lead to more and more babysitting and overseeing- and for what- so that every internet wanna be can stock a hard drive they'll accidentally fry in a few years with mp3s they never listen to- but keep around in case a girl or a friend who might like it ever comes over? The article in question and the guy who wrote it are coming from a genuine place- and the system is unnecessarily retarded- no doubt- but it came about as a result of a reckless free for all that started with napster. There has been so little restraint shown and so many who yell the loudest don't seem like they are looking for a solution that will work for all concerned and relevant parties- as much as a reason to "stay mad."

Also worth noting- One more time for the 5 who still don't know: Buy it on itunes, burn a CD and re-import at the bitrate/codec of your choice. DRM ended. Whining averted. If you will pay money for windows media files, well, god help you.
