If anything, they're going to be hiring Americans... which is good, because, statistically speaking, Americans won't have to eat anything extra in order to produce the energy google needs.Mind you, I'm not bias about who my electrons come from... just as long as my Indian click-through army still has time to do their thing.> And with that 10 cents, they can buy a few > grains of rice for food, so No, actually 5 cents will be paid to the bike farm and battery pipeline owners for use of their infrastructure... so the poor bastards will just have to figure out how to feed themselves on the remaining 5 cents.
Google is gonna buy a company to make them energy just like they bought a company to make google talkGoogle could just stop letting the yahoo people come and eat for free then burn the new food surplus as energy
If you look at the Google Mini (their search rack for small companies) it runs a Pentium III, which I am guessing would be more than enough for the thing. Makes you wonder what their other computers are running.
They should hook up the hot side of their A/C to stirling engines and recover some energy from their waste heat. It seems like this would help more than turning of the LEDs in the individual machines...
