googlesystem.blogspot.com — The spam in Gmail is also the subject of a promotional video that encourages to use Gmail if you want to "get back your time". The video reminded me of an old email account from my ISP: it received so much spam that it was almost impossible to find the genuine mail and the 10 MB of storage were insufficient to collect all this junk.

I have had precisely one spam e-mail since I opened a Googlemail account. I love it. Team it with Mozilla Thunderbird and you have just about the easiest and most flexible arrangement for e-mail you can get.

In this age of ever increasing spam Gmail has a great asset at its disposal. Perhaps the best part of Gmail's spam blocking system is how it relies on every day users to report spam, moving the pressure of spam blocking off of Google by asking for everyone's help

Every tech industry especially email is seeing its competition increase greatly. Gmail needs this spam blocking asset to stay competitive and to make it attractive to users since it doesn't offer a limitless amount of inbox space.
