The Sarah Conner files can not exist side by side with the Terminator movie in theaters, it would be complete confusion, I think that is why they canceled it.
@vizin: I don't know who you talk to, but those pauses would be heard in informal speech. That is, again, unless the speaker wants me to think like a hate-filled pineapple.You just might be glossing over the pauses as you listen, but they're there.

If a show like ReBoot could be made in the nineties, you'd think we could do some at least passable computer animation on a budget by now.

I have seen some awesome fan films that were done for free, complete with sci fi special effects that were close to what the studios can do.
