After getting my motorcycle theory certificate here in the Netherlands (needed to qualify for an license exam) all present were informed that a Dutch motorcycle driver has 13x the average chance to die in a traffic accident.
I don't own a bike and what exactly am I trying to rationalize???"surely it can't be that dangerous.." you think I am of this opinion? How f**king dumb are you? I have not expressed a single opinion on whether I believe biking is dangerous or not. In fact, the whole time I've been saying the numbers are neutral. that there is no bias.. SO HOW EXACTLY AM I TRYING TO RATIONALIZE ANYTHING? Just like your comment before, you've made another f**king straw-man argument (that means you made up bulls**t that your opponent wasn't even arguing about in the first place).
it's completely useless without knowing what percentage of vehicle users are motorcycle users. in other words, it tells us that x motorcyclists are injured and y car drivers are injured each year, but it doesnt offer reference numbers that would allow someone to say that "40% of motorcyclists are injured each year" and "10% of car drivers are injured each year"

trying to be "less controversial" at the expense of accuracy is a habit to be studiously avoided.
