webpronews.com — A top Digg user with a popular ratio of 34% has been getting paid well for promoting articles on Digg. His/her popularity has allowed numerous stories to reach the Digg Home Page, and when that happens he/she gets paid even more. THIS WONT MAKE THE FRONT PAGE SO DONT BOTHER DIGGING IT.

I'm not sure it's a bad thing. Diggers making money for being Diggers? Sounds neat, and I'm happy for them.If there's money coming in from advertisers, that just means digg is doing well and will grow.

One wonders at how a story is promoted to the front page. I have always assumed it was the stories with the highest instantaneous digg rate. Recently I have begun to think that the front page was just a mirror of the dailykos and huffingtonpost. I wonder if the leftists who run the site would divulge the formula?

This site has pretty much become useless. I'm pretty much sick of digging pro-McCain and/or anti-Obama stories then noticing that the stories never make it to the front page, but sure as s**t we'll see all kinds of drivel from huffingtonpost, thinkprogress or dailykos.f**king useless
