@hardeep1singhhardeep1singh The actual number of Linux installations is unknown...unlike Microsoft, which accounts for each install by requiring registration, Linux is used far wider than Microsoft would have you know, since there are no hard numbers....So saying Linux is only 5-6% is neither confirmed nor denied. Actually, with the speak that "Linux doesn't get viruses" (actually means, Linux doesn't get WINDOWS viruses) lulls people into complacency, especially regular users , not necessarily the "geeks", and it quite possibly would be easier to infect.
I installed XP SP3 on a computer yesterday because some of my software requires it. First thing I browsed The Pirate Bay in IE6 for no more than two minutes (you can guess why...), never even downloading a torrent, and got a whole slew of viruses and trojans. It was a hilarious reminder of how secure IE6 is.

All Trojans are viruses. But not all viruses are Trojans. It's true, do some research.

I like that you have to TRY in order to get a virus on Linux :)

but haven't you heard? switching to a non-IE browser can be even more insecure and increase your risk for viruses and all sorts of goodies!
