pbs.org— How big is the universe? Could it be infinitely large? If the universe has an edge, what is beyond the edge? And if the universe had a beginning, what was going on before that?

4. Population: 1It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. Even though not every one of them is inhabited, there are still an infinite number of inhabited worlds. Infinity divided by infinity is 1.5. Monetary Units:If there were a universal currency, it would probalby be knowledge and information.6. Art: Infinite.Just because you can't have an infinite mirror, doesn't mean you can't hold up a piece of a mirror to create art. Infinite pieces create infinite art, and since art isn't bound by time it is further infinite.7. Sex: Infinite.Infinite people have infinite sex. Wouldn't you rather live in a universe with infinite sex than no sex?
Yeah how big is the universe? - I don't believe it will ever be measured - and talking about measuring - How can such distance be measured anyway? and then how old is the universe? well they say that the further we look the closer we come to seeing how it all started - but that doesn't make sense either - If it all started as a speck then it means all material was part of that speck, including the earth - so if we look farther and farther into space we are looking closer and closer to earth and all other material - that then means that the further we look the smaller everything should be - because it all started as a speck - and so if we say that the universe is 20 billion years old then we should not be able to see big galaxies 20 billion light years away - in fact the further we look the smaller it should get - till there is only a speck - but then the earth was part of that speck and so we are right back were we started - because the earth material was also part of that speck - so maybe we can just say what goes around comes around - Every measurement that is light years away must be wrong because nothing can be where we think it is because too many things can happen in a light year and who knows what light does way out in space - Nobody knows where it was and where it's going -Well I do believe in creation - because it is just too spectacular to just happen - there is too much intelligence in the make up of the universe. You cannot throw an atomic bomb on a garbage dump and have it come out a 747 jetliner - you cannot have a speck of nothing explode and turn out to be such a huge spectacular universe that has a small little ball of material spinning in such a timely fashion that we can set the 747 jetliners clocks that was made by humans who apparently just sprang up from this speck of nothing - That just takes to much faith to believe.

Haven't you guys ever played asteroid? When you exit one side of the screen you reenter on the other side. Video games don't lie.

what if light slows down over a distance , which accounts for the red-shift.

no, space goes on forever. light doesn't have to touch something for it to exist, only for us to be aware of it

Maybe this version of the Matrix expands forever, but the last seven contracted into the big bangs.
